What are the documents required for Air/Sea freight ?
The AWB/BL is the title document for commodities travelling by air and is a non-negotiable, Commercial invoice. A packing list is a list of the contents of a box that completes the details on the invoice that the sender must issue, Authorization for customs clearance.

What is the difference between Air freight and Air courier ?
If you use a delivery service, the items would be viewed as a mail shipment rather than freight. It is an excellent choice for thin, light packets that need to get somewhere quickly. However, courier firms do not have an integrated logistics operation that includes customs clearance, which may result in delays or surcharges.

What is the procedure for Customs Clearance ?

What is the difference between actual weight and volumetric weight ?
Actual weight is the weight of the package while volumetric weight which uses an estimated weight that is calculated from the length, width, and height of a package. For example, if you ship a tall item, the volumetric package weight will be calculated based on the Length x Width x Height divided by 5000.
We calculate both the actual weight of the package and its volumetric weight; the larger figure will be applied to your package. This procedure is followed by all airlines and freight forwarding companies. -

Cargo consolidation is when multiple small shipments are combined into one truckload and forwarded to the same location. Basically, it is a multi-stop truckload shipment with several shipments that are picked up in a consolidation warehouse or distribution center and remain in the same truck until it reaches the final destination.
There is a well-built rule in breaking shipping costs: the bigger the load volume is, the lower the cost per unit. This enables shippers to combine their loads and share transportation costs.
